It just seems fitting. As it thrusts on hand accessories.. And we tweet with our fingers which are on our hands. And because I'm allowed to be qwerky like that :). YSL Documentary "Real artists transform their times," _Pierre Bargé

After the death of Pierre Bargé's partner Yves Saint Laurent***, Pierre Bargé set off on the mission to create a film about the intimate realities of their love story, illustrations of their art collections and business partnership. The film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and has been showing since May thirteenth in NYC. It will be showing in Los Angeles on May twentieth.

DIY: nails

To get the bold leopard nails you'll first need to prep nails. Gently file to shorten and shape. Then put on a base coat to smooth the nail surface. Then add two thin coats of color, it doesn't have to be pink, and wait for the nail polish to dry. You can then use an ear bud to make little spots with a darker color (whichever you want the spots to be in). Do this slowly to get the best results. For precise detailing you can use either a new ear bud where you would need to mold the cotton so that it gives smaller strokes or a toothpick. Carefully use black nail polish to contour the darker dots so that it looks like the picture above. After drying, you have the option to apply a top coat to keep the color from chipping.

The doc like platform with wooden sole is literally everywhere... My favorite are those at Luella and ALDO. Woolworths has released a line of vintage inspired hats that would cushion the conscience of any style savaged lady loving the hat above. So go ahead, get at it :).

In more than a few hours from now ,irrespective of time zone, a swamp of high profile, related as well as privileged individuals (including Sir Elton John, Joss Stone, Guy Ritchie and Sir John Major) will be attending the royal wedding. That of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Kate will wear a ring made from Welsh gold, already owned by the Royal family, and has decided to do her own make up. Its been rumored that Sarah Burton, the current creative director at Alexander McQueen, will be designing her dress. Although the palace's spokesperson stated that "Miss Middleton wants it to be a surprise for Prince William on the day." Below is a detailed summery of what will happen when, UK time (we are an hour ahead).

10.15am: The groom, Prince William, and his brother Prince Harry arrive at Westminster Abbey (they leave from Clarence House).

10.42am: The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall (Camilla) arrive at Westminster Abbey.

10.40am: The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh leave Buckingham Palace to arrive at the Abbey at 10.45am.

10.48am: The bridesmaids and page boys leave the Goring Hotel for Westminster Abbey to arrive at 10.55am.

10.51am: The bride, accompanied by her father, Mr Michael Middleton, leaves the Goring Hotel for Westminster Abbey.

11am: The Royal Wedding service begins.

12.15pm: The Carriage Procession of the bride and groom, with a Captain’s Escort of the Household Cavalry, followed by The Queen’s Procession with a Sovereign’s Escort of the Household Cavalry, leaves Westminster Abbey for Buckingham Palace.

12.30pm: The bride and groom’s Carriage Procession arrives at Buckingham Palace.

12.40pm: Members of the Royal family and members of foreign Royal families arrive at Buckingham Palace.

From 12.40pm: Other guests for the reception arrive at Buckingham Palace.

1.25pm: The Queen, the bride and the groom, together with their families, appear on the balcony.

Karl Lagerfeld on Dior

It is no secret that since Galliano's dismissal from Dior speculations of Riccardo Tisci replacing him have risen. Karl Lagerfeld's opinion on the matter: "I think Riccardo Tisci would be good, and then Haider Ackermann at Givenchy—not because they are friends of mine, but because they are good." Although Riccardo Tisci states his contentment with his position at Givenchy. it seems the Dior team is going to continue unhinged, towards another season.. With or without a successor.

Gucci everywhere

Vogue Japan's June issue is graced by Naomi Campbell in Gucci's Fall 2011 show-closing gold dress. Also worn by Beyonce in a past issue of Lofficiel Paris. But seriously, innovation is the name of the game. Its like two ladies wearing the same dress to the same party. Great PR for Gucci, yes. But what sort of damage could that pose to a publication? I'm not saying they are any losers... I'm just saying. Being Vogue I'm sure it will bounce either unaware/concerned due to its status in the established heirachy of fashion media. The point is, do it right. Please? Homework doesn't end in high school. I just hate when an idea (a creative one, at that) is exhausted. The dress is gaspingly beautiful, but we wouldn't want over exposure deteriorating its exclusive image now would we?
