Half ripe wedges
What would you call them? I know what my mother would… casuals. You know? The sorts of shoes you do everyday activities in. The woman recognises a pair with the significance of a pair of optimally engineered breaths. It’s probably because wedges are the most comfortable heeled shoes, with a humble persistence that evokes one to overlook their hydraulic effects.

Doc rebellion
Their thick heels states a rebellion from the rugged, rough connotations of their ancestors, the doc. Revealing a more relevant interpretation, for the modern woman. I prefer them with platforms.
I'd pair the second pair with a plum lip. The first with a subtle nude, although, without the lime lace.. the possibility of an orange stained lip would pass. And I'm convinced third pair would be an enthusiastic host to a wine red lip.

season essentials
Hats are no longer associated with warmer more whimsical climates.. Nor full hems with an off the shelf generation. And I love it. Sheer maxi skirts (in neutral shades) are available at Uh La La. Dated looking denim jackets or hemps at Rage stores. Handle bags, which are officially on my lust have list, can be bought at Foshini or YDE. The doc like platform with wooden sole is literally everywhere... My favorite are those at Luella and ALDO. Woolworths has released a line of vintage inspired hats that would cushion the conscience of any style savaged lady loving the hat above. So go ahead, get at it :).

aim higher
Back in high school I had a superior who's shoes suggested an outdated perspective on style. Notorious for her horrid shoes. 90's "spice girls" to the T. Eu* but they were wrong! In many ways at that. Anyway, anybody who's lived long enough realizes that trends never stay away for long. Never in the same way thou (take note). Thick heeled and soled shoes are currently on my lust list... But mam, I'll shed a few, Rands, in your behalf if you burn those things.
I only wish I could parade in these daily.

sihouette parade, this winter
Don't you just love winter? You should. The cuddles. The food. The enthusiastically warm layers. Considering current trends I'm slowly growing eager for its arrival. To flaunt the suggested intimacy of socks through thw windows of strap resembled platfroms.
To reveal the concord of unrelated textures and textiles and quantifiable contours and hems.

A few months ago I opt to read my first biography, of Coco Chanel, written by the prominently talented Axel Madsen. Not only did the book contribute to my Little knowledge of the French Revolution and the two world wars. It expressed mademoiselle Chanel's endemic opinion on EVERYTHING. Besides a few hundred words, I've also learnt plenty from the extraordinary woman...
Like that 1) "your character is who you are when you are alone"
2) Dress hems should be cut longer at the back
3) A fashion is for the masses
4) Love overcomes us all, because "a woman that is not loved is a woman lost"
A convicted Gabrielle "coco" Chanel, whose initial fortunes were those of men, became associated with greats like Picasso. Her brilliance grew a huge empire contributing novel seasons that created comfort for women now resulting to grieve after the second world war.... expectations (things every woman should have like the LBD) and excuses, when making bogus jewellery more fashionable than the real thing, for the now financially deprived masses during the depression.
She created an ageless sense of subtleness in style " her name is enough to define a pair of shoes".

Tacits of unemployment
I don't appreciate the uniform; plain jeans and T. so instead I collaborate a sheer pattern dress having everything from a cuddled lace siluet to a subtle flowery thrill edited together. It being my Velvet chocolate (that guilt pleasure that arouses vanity while kicking your back pocket. With a jersey. Wanton in intention and fitted to critic one of both shoulders. Horizontally striped in a blue and an almost shy grey. My ritual white watch, skeleton earrings and hand me down rope chain (vintage probably sounds better) accessorized the look.
Reality shun a flattery of dirt on My pair of these...
In my Twilight world, I would have paired this with these..
